GITFIC, in partnership with Accra Metropolitan Assembly and the Association of Ghana Industry humbly invite you to participate in our Conference on the 4th Conference on Trade & Finance dubbed the AfCFTA-Edition. This invitation is in accordance with our conference which was originally scheduled to have been held on the 10th and 11th of April 2020. It became necessary to postpone the conference at the outbreak of Covid-19 and restrictions directed by His Excellency, The President of the Republic of Ghana.Following the lifting of most of the restrictions announced by the President on 28th August 2020 in Update 16 on enhanced measures to defeat Covid-19 in Ghana, we have deemed it necessary to officially inform you of the new dates. This all-important conference shall focus on optimizing AfCFTA for Africans and shall welcome Continental audience including key architects, negotiators, country and multi-lateral agencies promoting the AfCFTA.

About GITFIC
Africa’s journey towards an integrated and prosperous continent attained an important milestone on May 30th, 2019 with its participation in the Agreement, establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Africa’s integration agenda is expected to increase intra-African trade and investment to generate economic growth, create more job opportunities for millions, and provide opportunities for women and youth entrepreneurs. This provides a key pathway for regional trade integration as it seeks to improve rural infrastructure and trade related capacities for market access in order to transform trade and sustain inclusive growth and also, by enhancing markets and value chains.
