As you are aware, CII organises India’s Largest and Focussed Mining Exhibition for the last 36 years in Kolkata, India. The 14th edition of International Mining Machinery Exhibition (IMME) and Global Mining Summit (GMS) was held in 2018 at Kolkata where the event was supported by the Ministry of Mines and Coal India with Government of Jharkhand as the Partner State. Germany was the Partner Country and Australia was the Focus country. There were 10 country pavilions viz Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, China, Germany, Russia, Turkey, UK and USA at the event.While IMME 2020 was scheduled to be held from 12 – 15 December 2020 at Eco Park, there are concerns in organising a Physical Exhibition in 2020 due to Covid-19 disruptions. Hence CII will be organising IMME 2020 and GMS 2020 on a Virtual Platform from December 2, 2020 to 1st February 2021
