What is a punch press?

The stamp press machine is a molding process technology, while a punch is an equipment and a stamping press is a metalworking. A punch can be said to be a metalworking machine that deforms or shapes a metal through a mold.

Processing technology of punching machine

Stamping production is mainly for sheet metal. Through the mold, it can make blanking, punching, forming, deep drawing, dressing, fine punching, shaping, riveting and extrusion, etc. A stamping press is widely used in electronics, communication, computers, household appliances, furniture, transportation, Stamping and forming of hardware parts such as automobiles, motorcycles, and bicycles. Metal stamping presses can be divided into mechanical punches or hydraulic presses. Hydraulic presses are also classified into hydraulic presses or hydraulic presses depending on the liquid.

Compared with traditional machining, the stamping process saves energy and materials, and the processing efficiency is higher. The punching machine consists of a bolster plate and a ram segment, a large metal block of the pad type, and the mold to be pressed is fixed on the metal block. (The upper mold and the lower mold) are placed between the upper mold and the lower mold, deformed by the pressure of the punching, and further processed into a desired product, and the reaction force generated by the punching is pressed by the punch itself completely absorbed, so the quality of the bed is also an important indicator to ensure the stability of the press.
